# Set the DMS settings.

Set up to use Device Management System.

 **ALERT**

To enable smooth device management, the factory default setting for DMS on the device side is " **enabled** ".
Regardless of whether this service is used or not, Internet communication is performed when the DMS setting is enabled. Since communication costs are incurred when using mobile functions, please **disable** the DMS setting if you do not use this service.

### Display DMS settings

Displays DMS settings.

  Click on the side menu \[ Advanced Configuration and Control \] - \[ DMS Settings \].

The "DMS Settings" screen displays the current DMS setting status.

### Enable/disable DMS settings

Enables/disables DMS settings.

  On the "DMS Settings" screen, click the toggle to change the setting to \[Enable\] or \[Disable\], then click the \[Settings\] button.
