# Set up authentication information for VMS

This section describes the procedure for configuring VMS credentials from the gateway settings.

 **注意**

VMS authentication is different from camera authentication. Authentication requires Nx Witness administrator account information.

   **メモ**

If you use amnimo VMS, you do not need to register VMS authentication information. Please go to "3. Detecting cameras".

  \[Under Other, click VMS Authentication Information.

  When the authentication screen appears, enter the user name and password and click on "Setup".
