# Obtaining snapshots

A snapshot is an image saved of the moment of the video currently being viewed.
This section describes two types of procedures for taking snapshots.

### Obtain a snapshot at any given time

1. Select the camera for which you want to take a snapshot and click the Snapshot icon.

2. Select a date and time on the timeline bar or click Acquisition Date and Time and select a date and time from the calendar. After entering an arbitrary name for the snapshot, click Acquire.

3. The acquired snapshots can be viewed on the [Cloud Storage Video/Image page](https://amnimo.com/Downloads/eVMS2.0_20230802/eVMS2.0_20230802/eVMS2.0/contents/videoclips/videoclips.htm).
   The Cloud Storage Video/Image page can be accessed from the menu.

## Obtain a snapshot of the camera image being displayed

1. On the \[CLOUD\] tab, click the \[LIVE\] button (① in the figure below).
2. Once the camera is in LIVE status, click on the camera icon ( ![](https://amnimo.com/manual/edge_gw/evms/ja/assets/images/image145.png)) (② in the figure below).
