# What you need to prepare

- **SIM card** (SIM size conversion adapters are deprecated)
  Please have one available for mobile connections.

- Please refer to the [IoT Router User's Manual](https://amnimo.com/manual/edge_gw/ja/iot_router_users_manual.pdf) for specifications and standards.

 **NOTE**

For AR10-000JP (without communication module) models, a SIM is not required.

- **PC for configuration**
  Required to configure various settings of the IoT router.
  This manual uses Windows 10.
- **LAN cable** (recommended category: CAT5e or higher)
  Required to connect IoT router and PC.
