# Set the DMS settings.

Set up to use Device Management System.

 **ALERT**

To enable smooth device management, the factory default setting for DMS on the device side is " **enabled** ".
Regardless of whether this service is used or not, Internet communication is performed when the DMS setting is enabled. Since communication costs are incurred when using mobile functions, please **disable** the DMS setting if you do not use this service.

### Display DMS settings

Displays DMS settings.

  Click on the side menu [ Advanced Configuration and Control ] - [ DMS Settings ].

The "DMS Settings" screen displays the current DMS setting status.

### Enable/disable DMS settings

Enables/disables DMS settings.

  On the "DMS Settings" screen, click the toggle to change the setting to [Enable] or [Disable], then click the [Settings] button.
