Safety and Modification Precautions #
For the protection and safety of the human body and the product or the system containing the product, follow the safety instructions in this manual when handling the product.
We cannot guarantee the safety of the product if it is handled in a manner contrary to these instructions. Unauthorized modification of the product is strictly prohibited.
To use this product safely #
The precautions listed in this section are intended to ensure safe and proper use of the product and to prevent harm or damage to you or others. The contents that may occur if the product is mishandled are classified into two categories: "WARNING" and "CAUTION". Each of these is a serious safety-related warning, so be sure to observe them.

2 Minor injuries include injuries, burns, and electric shock that do not require hospitalization or long-term hospitalization for treatment.
3 Property damage refers to extended damage to the house, household goods, livestock, pets, etc.
Handling of the main unit #
![]() Warning. | Do not disassemble or modify the product. Doing so may cause fire, electric shock, or injury. Do not insert pins, wires, or other metal objects into the main unit. Doing so may cause abnormal operation, resulting in injury, electric shock, or malfunction. Do not allow children to use this product alone or keep it out of the reach of young children. Doing so may cause electric shock, injury or burns. Do not pour water inside the main unit. Doing so may cause a short circuit, electric shock, or fire. Do not use organic solvents or detergents such as benzene or thinner for cleaning. Doing so may cause discoloration, deformation, or damage. |
![]() attention (heed) | When using this product, it must be installed on a level and stable location using the specified accessory (sold separately) fixture. This is to ensure stable operation of this equipment and to avoid any possible influence on the human body in the event of an accident. |
Precautions for Wireless Communications #
- This product may only be used in Japan.
- Other than conforming to the technical standards of the Radio Equipment Regulations of the Radio Law of Japan and the Telecommunications Business Law Terminal Equipment Regulations, other standards are not supported.
- Since this product has been certified for technical conformity, you may be penalized by law if you do any of the following
- Disassembling or modifying this product
- Peeling off the certification label
- Use an antenna other than the on-board antenna.
- Communication may not be possible in the following locations due to radio wave reflection.
- Where strong magnetic fields, static electricity, and radio interference occur
- Metal walls (including concrete walls with metal reinforcement embedded within) rooms, inside cabinets, etc.
- Do not install or use wireless devices in areas where their use is prohibited, such as in airplanes or hospitals.
- Compact router with wireless LAN (AC25) can use 5GHz band radio wave. outdoor use of W52 and W53 radio wave is prohibited by the Radio Law. If W53 and W56 are selected, the following restrictions apply according to the law.
- Before starting communication for each channel, radar wave detection is performed for 1 minute, during which time communication is not possible.
- If radar waves are detected during communication, the channel is automatically changed and communication may be interrupted.
- The compact router with wireless LAN (AC25) can use the 2.4 GHz band.
In this frequency band,- Industrial, scientific and medical equipment such as microwave ovens
- Other similar radio stations
- Mobile radio stations for mobile identification that require a license for use on factory production lines, etc.
- Specified low-power radio stations that do not require a license
- Amateur radio stations requiring a license
is in operation. Before using the compact router's wireless LAN, make sure that no other wireless stations using the 2.4 GHz band are operating nearby.
Compact routers with wireless LAN are wireless facilities and can bypass the bandwidth of mobile identification devices.

Installation Precautions #
Incorrect installation or usage may cause malfunctions or accidents. Please read the following precautions carefully before installation.
- Do not remove the vent filter for internal pressure adjustment that is affixed to the back of the product. (If you peel it off, you will lose the dustproof and waterproof resistance.)
- This product is a permanently connected device. If power is to be disconnected, use a power disconnect device outside the equipment.
- Do not use the product except with a power supply of 100 VAC or 200 VAC. Doing so may cause fire or electric shock.
- The AC power cable is an optional item and must be connected by the customer at the time of use.
- For flame resistance of the cable, UL94-V1 or UL94-V0 or higher and flame retardant grade CMX or higher are recommended.
- For materials used during installation, use our recommended materials or use materials that meet waterproof specification requirements (IP65, IP66).
- The dustproof and waterproof rating of this product conforms to IP65 for AR20/AG20 and IP66 for AC25. Please note the following when installing the product.
When using our recommended waterproof cable gland, observe the specified tightening torque for the connector during installation. The tightening torque for the screws on the front door of AC25 should be 1.2 N・m. Insufficient installation may cause water infiltration, resulting in failure.

- We make no warranty of any kind with respect to such products, except as otherwise provided in the Warranty Clause.
- We are not responsible for any damage or any indirect damage incurred by you or any third party due to the use of this product, or due to any defect in this product that we cannot foresee.
About Repair #
- For inquiries about malfunctions, please contact Customer Support.
- If this product should become defective, please contact us with the model name and serial number of the product and provide a description of the problem and its progress, including a schematic diagram and data, if possible.
- We will follow the replacement procedure for the malfunctioning Product. However, we may charge a separate fee if the product is not covered free of charge at our discretion.
Cases in which free replacement is not applicable #
- In case of malfunction due to improper handling by the customer.
- Malfunction and damage due to handling, use, or storage beyond design and specification conditions.
- Failure due to use in locations unsuitable for the installation site standards specified by us, failure due to maintenance that does not conform to the installation site, and failure due to installation methods that do not adhere to the items listed in the Installation Guide.
- Failure or damage resulting from modification or repair by anyone other than us or our authorized agents.
- Failure or damage due to improper relocation after delivery.
- Malfunction or damage caused by reasons other than the product itself, including natural disasters such as fire, earthquakes, wind, flood, and lightning strikes.
