Activation and connection of sensor connection gateways

Insert the SIM card to be used into the back of the sensor connection gateway.
NOTE

When inserting the SIM card into SIM card slot 0, insert it so that the SIM card contacts are on the bottom.
When inserting the SIM card into SIM card slot 1, insert it so that the SIM card contacts are on the top.

Connect the LAN0 port of the sensor connection gateway to the PC using a LAN cable.
Set the configuration DIP switch on the front of the sensor connection gateway to Linux boot mode.

Connect the AC adapter to the sensor connection gateway.

Power is automatically turned on and the sensor connection gateway is activated.

  • Since sensor-connected gateways are intended to operate 24 hours a day, they have the ability to automatically recover in the event of a shutdown, such as in the event of a failure.
  • Therefore, if the sensor-connected gateway is shut down in the manner described in this section, but power is still supplied by the power connector, it will restart.
  • If you wish to put the sensor connection gateway into a power-off state, shut it down and wait until the LEDs are in a power-off ready state (power LED lit red) before pulling the power plug.
