The amnimo X series is equipped with DRP-AI, an AI accelerator manufactured by Renesas Electronics Corporation. using DRP-AI enables both fast AI inference and low power consumption.
DRP-AI is composed of AI-MAC (multiply-and-accumulate arithmetic unit) and DRP (reconfigurable processor). A series of AI processing can be executed at high speed by assigning the operations of the convolutional and all-combining layers to AI-MAC and other complex processing such as preprocessing and the Pooling layer to DRP.
DRP-AI can perform not only inference but also pre-processing and post-processing, so the entire sequence of AI processing can be performed by DRP-AI.
