This section describes how to start the Sensor Connection Gateway and log in.
- Please refer to the AI Edge Gateway Series Startup Guide for general instructions after starting the Edge Gateway.
- Please refer to the amnimo gateway series GUI User's Manual and amnimo gateway series CLI User's Manual for detailed information on how to use the Edge Gateway.
Activate the sensor connection gateway #
The sensor connection gateway is automatically activated when the power supply is connected.
DIP switch settings (Linux boot mode)
Set the DIP switch to "Linux boot mode" and connect the power supply as shown below.
Do not perform the following operations during the startup sequence to avoid malfunction.
- Power ON/OFF
- Switching DIP switches
The status of the sensor connection gateway can be checked via LEDs on the main unit and the CONSOLE port.
About the initial password for the bootloader
- Please contact our customer support for the initial password when starting AI Edge Gateway in U-Boot mode.

You will need to change your password after logging in.
Enter "admin" as the login name and Enter without entering a password to log in.

- 8 characters or more
- Includes at least two types of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
- At least one character different from previously used passwords
If the above rules are not met, the password cannot be registered.
There are no restrictions on repeating the same or consecutive letters.
Even if you meet the requirements, your registration may be denied if any of the following conditions apply to you or if your password is deemed to be insecure (difficult to guess).
- Words in the dictionary (e.g., test)
- Words with regularity, such as number or alphabet keyboard sequences (e.g., 1234, abcde, qwert)
- Contains user name
Log in for the second time or later #
To log in a second time or later, enter the password you set the first time.
