Detecting cameras

If a camera is already connected to the device, the camera will be detected automatically once the device is activated. If a camera has been detected, go to “(3) Configure camera authentication and recording”.

  1. Click the icon next to the device, then click Gateway Settings.

  2. [Click on “Other” and then “Camera Detection”.

  3. Click “Yes” on the confirmation screen.

  4. Confirm that the camera appears in the sidebar. (Thumbnails will not appear until a snapshot is taken.)
