This section describes the operation of the "Restart/Stop" screen.
Click on [Administration] > [Reboot/Stop] from the side menu to open the "Reboot/Stop" screen.
In addition to shutdown, the device has two other reboot menus: software reboot, which stops the system, and hardware reboot, which does not stop the system.
| shutdown | Deactivates the power supply for the hardware. |
| software reboot | Restart the system after shutting it down. |
| hardware reboot | Without shutting down the system, power off and restart the hardware. |
Reboot the device #
Check [Software reboot] or [Hardware reboot] as the reboot method (①) and click [Reboot] (②).
［Click "Run.
The device will start rebooting and the following dialog will appear.
Rebooting takes a few minutes.
After the restart is complete, the "Sign In" screen will appear.
Shut down the device #
Check [Shutdown] as the stop method (①) and click [Stop] (②).
［Click "Run.
Device shutdown is initiated.
Confirm the following dialog box and click [Close].
